Apple is expanding its footprint in Singapore in a big way. The iPhone maker announced that it plans to spend over US$250 million (~S$340 million) to expand its campus in Ang Mo Kio. According to Apple, the expanded campus will provide space for “new roles in AI and other key functions”. Apple has had a presence in Singapore for over 40 years. SINGAPORE – Housekeepers and porters have been added to a list of seven jobs in services and manufacturing for which employers will soon be allowed to hire work permit holders from a wider range of locations.
