A Very Rainy Tipi Wedding – Well it was November in The Lake District Clare and Glenn can have the first words: “…..Where do we begin with the amazing Pixies!? Pete and Sara documented our wedding in November 2021 and WOWed us with the results… Our photos have left us speechless. They managed to catch such emotion, happiness, love and friendship in every picture that resulted in telling the entire story of the day, rain and all. We had no idea how they managed to capture so many unique split-second moments of so many people which gives you an idea of how discrete and alert they are…..” So, it ..read more

Hotel Gotham Wedding photography – Manchester So, early pandemic (it’s been going on so long now that I think we can give ‘it’ the early label!) Andy and Anika got in touch with their positive attitude and optimistic outlook for a October 2020 Manchester city centre wedding….well you know the rest of the story. Fast forward three more dates later and a new venue as their original one had closed down, it was now October 2021 and everyone was ready for a good party :) Talking of that new venue, they’d landed on their feet with the very stylish and epic Hotel Gotham. An Anglo German wedding celeb ..read more

Nic and Gav had never wanted to get married in that traditional (boring) way and when they did, they’d never thought they’d want a wedding photographer…but here we are! So we were super honoured that Nic had seen the essence of our documentary photography style and chosen us to capture their Kilnsey Park wedding, that as circumstances had turned out, meant so much to both of them and all their amazing family and friends.  A Kilnsey Park wedding celebration So, given all that, how did we end up here in ‘sunny’ Yorkshire. Well Gav’s a Yorkshire man, from a few miles up t’ road, so that expl ..read more

FiveFour Studios wedding photography, Manchester (well Salford actually.) Esme & James, didn’t want a usual run of the mill wedding. But they didn’t want an all out centre of attention extravanganza either and would prefer to melt into the background of a quirky environment. James suggested looking at this photo studio just outside Manchester city centre over the river in Salford, Esme was like ‘meh’ but went along. The rest as they say is history. Chilled out wedding day vibe We met up with Esme and James over at ours, as they were escaping house renovations at home. (Been there done that ..read more

If Carlsberg did wedding venues… Le Petit Chateau wedding photography – A Winter Wedding Wonderland, Northumberland When you get an enquiry to photograph a Le Petit Chateau wedding then you cross all your fingers and hope the diary is empty, when it’s a Tuesday then you jump for joy, when you’re already in Northumberland for a Saturday wedding then woo hoo, when you Skype the couple and they’re as great as these two – well what more can we say :)  Snow, well it was still February! Hmmm…so we looked out of the window in Alnwick to a blanket of snow and more falling. So we set off a few ..read more

Sarah and Dan’s Peak District wedding day very much reflected their laid back personalities, which is how it should be :) They did things their way and just had the parts of a wedding which they wanted. Personal ceremony The ceremony went as usual, with the omission of rings – as these two were keen climbers so rings would just get in the way of enjoying themselves every weekend (or when they could now they had two small children I guess the climbing had to take a back seat for now!) But then a secret to most of the guests and ourselves was Dan’s song to Sarah, tambourine in hand and ably ..read more
