Very new to waterfowl and even greener when it comes to the river. When traveling the river my son and I see plenty of ducks and have even set up and taken a smattering of divers/mergansers but not enough to say we're doing anything right. What should we be looking for and what would be a proper set up? Getting the boat and rig ready for the next split and remainder of season. Picked up another 2 dozen of the northern flight mallards off cabelas’s for $44/doz. Painted them up as bluebills to add to my other 3 dozen. I primarily hunt Md. , mid and lower bay and as of this season up sandusky bay.
