Puerto Vallarta sits right on the gorgeous Pacific Ocean and Bay of Banderas, which provides totally unique day trips! You can spend an afternoon scuba diving or catch a sunset cruise on a catamaran. Not to mention the world-class whale watching that happens in these waters as well.
But one of my favorite ways to experience Puerto Vallarta’s marine tourism is through a fishing charter. Fish are abundant in these warm waters, from large, trophy fish like marlin, to the plentiful mahi mahi, making Puerto Vallarta one of the best sport-fishing locations in the entire world!
Fishing tours are an a ..read more

Located on the outskirts of Tulum, the Tulum Ruins are widely known as being some of the best Mayan ruins in all of Mexico. This landmark is a place where people can walk around and explore ancient archeological sites that overlook the stunning blue-green waters of the Caribbean. In fact, this is the only Mayan city built directly on the Caribbean coast!
We were in awe as we walked around the ruins and realized how large and intricate the structures considering they were over a thousand years old.
One of the best ways to visit the Tulum Ruins is on a tour. This way, you’ll get transportation f ..read more

There’s a good reason Playa del Carmen is one of the top-rated vacation destinations in Mexico. Aside from having stunning beaches, breathtaking tours, and some out of this world food, you won’t be disappointed with the nighttime diversions either. One of our favorite nightclubs is Coco Bongo! It offers a fun mix of an energetic nightclub with an unforgettable show – we know you’ll love it!
If you enjoy the nightlife like we do, you HAVE to check out Coco Bongo in Playa del Carmen. This is truly an unmissable experience – just make sure to plan for a recovery day following your night out.

Puerto Vallarta is home to one of Mexico’s finest products: tequila! The state of Jalisco has the most tequila distilleries and agave farms in the world. In fact, the only genuine tequila you can get is from this region. It is like the “champagne of Mexico,” only with a little more kick to it!
We have a special place in our hearts for Puerto Vallarta and come back as often as we can. It’s not only a fun vacation spot, it’s the perfect place to take a tequila tour, as there are SO many distilleries around and the town of Tequila itself!
