We have good news and bad news. First, the bad. . . We recently discovered that there are 800,000 unregistered likely progressive voters in Wisconsin. That’s right, hundreds of thousands who would probably vote Democratic if we could get them to register and vote. The League of Women Voters-Greater Chippewa Valley will host a free voter registration training via Zoom from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 29, according to a press release. The training will teach participants how to help others register to vote and how to access resources. The Northern Wisconsin State Fair begins July 12th and runs through July 16th. As in the past we are sponsoring an informational booth (with Eau Claire County) to promote our local Democratic Party and our progressive values. The Democratic Party of Chippewa County is responsible for the booth on Thursday, July 13th and Saturday, July 15th. We need at least two volunteers to fill each of the shifts below.
