“ The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.'' (Genesis 2:15) ‘For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:10) In Genesis 2:15, God takes the man and plants him in the Garden of Eden. The verse is clear: “God placed Adam in the garden to work on the Garden and to take care of it.” In Ephesians 2:10, the Bible is also very clear: “there are some good works that God had prepared in advance for us to do.” You and I were created in Christ Jesus to do spec ..read more

In Ephesians 6:10-18, the Apostle Paul describes the armor of the believer. In the same passage, he describes faith as a shield. And he even writes that the shield is designed to thwart the flaming arrows of the devil. Notice that in Ephesians 6:13, he wrote: “ Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.” He said that we should wear full armor in order to be ready when the day of evil comes. And the days of evil have come. In case you don’t know, the Middle East has entere ..read more

“After this, Paul left Athens and went to Corinth. There he met a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had ordered all Jews to leave Rome. Paul went to see them, and because he was a tentmaker as they were, he stayed and worked with them. Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.”                                                           ..read more

Lessons from the Wedding in Cana: "Do whatever He tells you."

“On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.” “Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim. Then he told ..read more

THE TITHE: GOD'S CLAIMED PROPERTY (and why the enemy wants it)

Most theologians and Bible scholars are in agreement that the following passage discusses the pompous heart of Lucifer and his fall from Heaven: “How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, “I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” (Isaiah 14:12-14) In Matth ..read more

‘Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where did the weeds come from?’ “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.                                                 ..read more

How to get all your prayers to God answered
Maurice Kande: In-depth Scriptures Studies

It is not possible to experience a sane Christian life if prayers are never answered. A life of Unanswered prayers can be extremely stressful. At times, a life of unanswered prayers can even make someone doubt the existence of God. In this post I will respond to two questions: Why are prayers not answered? How to get your prayers answered from God? 1. Why are prayers not answered? Before I could answer this question, let me say this: ‘If God could answer all prayers, then we could be living in a dangerous world’. I say this because there are people who have evil prayers submitt ..read more

Conquering Darkness with the Light of God
Maurice Kande: In-depth Scriptures Studies
by Maurice Kande

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (John 1:5) Whether in the spiritual or in the natural, darkness can not overcome light. Darkness can only overcome light if the light dies off. Certain people with vicious and dark minds are operating to expand darkness on the face of the Earth. One of their objectives is to engulf the whole world (including the children of God) into that darkness. Jesus, in Matthew 5:16 wrote: ‘ Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.’ As Christians, we ..read more

The Bible is very clear: “ The just shall live by faith.” (ref. Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17) Regardless of your personal aptitudes, as a Christian, you can't live without faith. Since 2020, we have witnessed a deterioration in many aspects of our global society. I hear a lot of people claiming that things will get better in the upcoming years. However, in reality, things will not get better. Even though the world will go downhill, there is hope for those who believe in the Lord Jesus. In this post, I will share certain Biblical principles that will assist many Christians in navigating th ..read more

WHEN DOES THE SEASON OF JESUS' RETURN START?
Maurice Kande: In-depth Scriptures Studies

Jesus said that nobody knows the day nor the hour of His Second coming (ref. Matthew 24:36). His Second coming is a mystery but we can certainly know the season of His Second coming. In Matthew 24:32-33, Jesus said: "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door." Though Jesus said that the day and hour are unknown, He indicated that we could know the season of His return. Many Christians are alarmed by the recent even ..read more
