Binocular magnification

I hunt rolling hills, flat land and Appalachia. I also enjoy a few shed hunts a year, lol. In another thread I seen where @Hedgelj said that he preferred the 8.5 magnifying glass for deer hunting. I had a set of 8x that when I upgraded, I upgraded to 10x. I went a few weeks ago to order a set of 12x because they were on sale and I figured they would make a goof set for the truck. That purchase never happened because they were on sale and my voucher didn't work. So it made... Read more ..read more

Extra money

My wife never really worked until a few years ago. The extra money she makes she wants to keep. But she is working with special needs kids and comes home crying at least once a week. I hate it. Kills me to see her like that but she feels like she needs to contribute to the household. It's only $20,000 a year but she has summer off and can take the kids to and from school. She just mentioned to me about finding something she can do from home. Anyone doing anything like this as an extra... Read more ..read more

Plumbing (kind of?) Issue
The Ohio Outdoors Forum

So my wife and I finally found a house we liked, and actually had our offer accepted. We closed a few days ago, and the projects started. We agreed it needed a new tub and shower down stairs, so I ripped out the old one. Everything has been going reasonably smooth (especially for a dipshit that has 0 plumbing or renovation experience) until today. All of my shower panels are fitted perfectly, when I realized that my handles for the water will not work. The attachment for the handles are not... Read more ..read more

AT&T Outage

I've been an AT&T customer for well over a decade and the only two times we've had a network issue, it was localized due to power/generator outages. Today is much different since it's a national issue that has had my phone down for 6+ hours. Has anyone heard if this was a cyberattack or another form of national security issue? Seems like a good candidate for a dry run from the Russians or Chinese ..read more

Solar tiki light fix
The Ohio Outdoors Forum

I've had solar tiki lights out behind the house for years & really like them. A few of them have been giving me fits for a good while where as when they come on at night, the function mode changes & I have to go out & change back to flickering mode. Some of the on /off switches have also gone haywire & you really have to fuck around with them. Not anymore ! Today, I learned how to remedy that altogether...... Inside, there is... SA Hellcat Pro - Trigger Bounceback?
The Ohio Outdoors Forum
by Bowhunter57

I have a Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro, in 9mm. When firing it, the trigger seems to have some "bounceback". It's the same sensation as a cracked baseball bat, that buzzes your hands, this trigger buzzes your index finger. I realize this isn't intended to be a range gun for target practice. Just the same, I don't enjoy shooting it, despite the excellent accuracy it produces. Is this something that a gunsmith can adjust/fix? ....or a possible break-in period? (it has less than 50 rds...
