Fellow OVC members need to be pulling hard for Murray State no matter how you feel about them leaving the conference. They have already earned one extra NCAA unit and can earn another tonight. I found the following on the internet- Each 2022 unit is worth $338,887 paid to the conference of the participating school. Each unit has a six-year shelf life, meaning one unit this season is worth $2,033,322 overall. Those payouts are split evenly among the conference's schools. There is a rumor that UIndy will vote on conference affiliation on September 30th. GLVC has moved farther west and all of their rivals have moved or closed (KWC, USI, Bellarmine, St. Joe’s). The potential landing smarts are to move up to the OVC or to move to the GMAC in d2. There was a report that were considering d3 but that was never on the table and more of being smart with the reporters asking the questions.
