Hello, all. I am a complete newbie to morel hunting and this forum. I am supposed to be attending a morel-hunting event this weekend. Camping is involved, and the weather forecast looks dreadful -- rain and thunderstorms -- so I'm trying to decide if I want to brave this or not. My question: With the early spring we have had, is the season over for morels? The event is in east central Ohio. We're coming up on the Autumnal Equinox soon so I figured why not start a Fall mushroom thread. It's also because I had some success today.
