Can goalies on here please explain why the majority of NHL goalies now favour the generic white pads, blockers and catchers? So the title says most of it. Let me start by saying I can skate just fine. Obviously not like I once could, mid-40’s now and haven’t played regularly since early 20’s, but ya, I was on skates by the time I was 2 and was always a good skater. It’s not that I can’t skate.
