Hey everyone, Bought a 2017 ford edge titanium 3.5 V6 with 30k on the odo. Drive great rides great but I am noticing a hissing sound coming from near the rear drivers side tire while idling... no codes are thrown. Dosen't change when revving up the engine so I don't think it is exhaust. It seems to be coming from near the fuel tank... any ideas? Is it normal? Hey so I’ve got a 2016 Edge, guy handed me a coffee & it exploded going into the well of the electric parking break, started having issues where the parking break light & electric issue light. Also get a message saying “parking break limited function service required” car drives fine other then beeping, have been able to reset it a few times but it comes back. When I change the station, it shows the station has changed but it really hasn't. It's stuck on the same one. Sometimes no sound comes out at all. Also, there's a loud pop noise that comes out of the speakers continuously once the radio turns on and off. Please help ..read more

I have a 2018 Edge Titanium that is having an odd lift gate issue. If I use the lift gate while the car is off, the battery acts like its dead. Like, 100% dead. It resets the computer in the car to default settings for speed and temp and cruise settings and the like. It does not reset the radio though, everything there is still saved, connected phones are remembered as well as navigation data. But, the car needs to be jumped to start again. The Ford dealer finally got the download(update) to take on my car, only took about 11 months ??. A few different things but I can figure it out, however, the auto zoom on the navigation doesn't seem to work. I can drive in town and it will be at 200ft, when I go to the interstate it stays at 200ft. I can manually use my fingers and spread it out to whatever I want (.2, .5, miles etc). A while back I posted in the Ford Edge forum that I was not happy with the HID headlight illumination in my Edge Sport. I wondered why Ford had not made use of the already provided high beam position and instead applied only a DRL function to that HB position. 2008 Ford Edge SEL 216k miles Any ideas on this one? My starter went out on me this week. Bought a new one an installed it--no problems with that. Now, with my first crank of the new starter, my battery light comes on after about a minute from starting. I checked the battery and alternator, and both seem to be working right. (13.9v charging under load.) Now I didn't go and check the cycle output of the PCM or the reference wire back, but just in general, the alternator seems to work... I am having an issue with the seats on my Edge ST not heating. The bottom of the seat gets plenty warm, but the back of the seat doesnt even get warm. I had an Edge lease car, and the seats, both the bottom and the back gets plenty warm. The dealership told me that they checked out everything, and there is no problem, although they did say that they felt the back of the seat didnt get warm either.
