Before diagnosing Mom's '02 Taurus warm air A/C issue I watched a video which gave advice to check the fuse, relay, refrigerant and clutch, so here's how it went... The issue...room temp air comes from the vents when set to Max A/C and dialed to full cold, and warm air comes out when dialed to full hot. First off I am pretty bad when it comes to cars. I have a code reader and usually just replace whatever part it tells me to. Currently I am trying to replace the fuel pressure sensor (which is a rather easy replacement) and the vacuum line that connects to it completely shattered when I was taking it off. Have an '02 Taurus that just rolled over 100k so I'm looking to change out all the O2 sensors before the weather gets too cold. I go to look up oxygen sensor in the old FSM to see what this is gonna look like and I can't find the term 'oxygen sensor' listed anywhere. Not in either the Fuel System or Exhaust System sections or in the back index. The closest it's referenced in one of the two previously mentioned sections is something like a 'catalytic monitor.' Hi, I am using the Intake manifold (Metal) from a 97 Ford Taurus (or mercury Sable) 3,0 DOHC V6. I need the part numbers for the 6 intake manifold isolators that are used to secure the upper manifold to the lower manifold. 3 of them are short and 3 are long. I have the short ones (part number 9S479) as they are the same as on some other engines.
