I'm servicing my Mother's car right now and the AC blows warm air when on Max and high fan speed, and the compressor seems to be cycling weird. With the engine turned on and Max AC is running at high fan speed the compressor clutch engages spinning for about 10 seconds, and then it disengages and stops turning for about 10 seconds. Hey all! I'm a college student rocking Grandma's old 98 sable. It's a beast for it's age, as it was rarely used and very well kept. It hit 100,000 miles just recently, and runs like a champ. My 05 Taurus sel was misfiring in cylinder 2 and 6. I replaced the spark plugs, wires and coil pack and it didn’t help. Then I got some blown resistors in the PCM replaced and the car started up with no misfires but now it won’t rev/drive over about 1800 rpms. I replaced the throttle position sensor, the air flow sensor and crankshaft sensor. None of it helped. My cats don’t seem to be getting too hot and there is no smell from the engine or exhaust. Hello any mechanics I have a 2006 ford Taurus it has a 190k miles on it but runs and drives great no issues even in central Florida.
