What are you guys using to control ticks on your dogs? Mine is not a hunting dog but I've been pulling a lot of ticks out of her lately. Was going to get some meds but the reviews for every one of them include several instances of illness, seizures, and death. She's lyme vaccinated and toxoplasmosis is treatable. Almost seems like I'd rather risk tick born disease for free than to pay to risk immediate death.

Here is the dosage for dogs. I've had to use it for a dog that got into a bees nest. For bees giving by mouth will work. For a poisonous snake bite injecting like you would for their yearly shots is best for quick action. This is not to counteract the venom of bees or snakes but to keep the airways open that will start swelling and cut off breathing ..read more

I have a 20 month old male american black lab and need to introduce an e-collar. He comes from a liine of field trial dog and is high energy. I checked on private lessons but they are out of my budget. I purchased a garmin sportspro for this training. I will need to do the training myself. I am looking for advise on a training manual or trusted internet site that has helped others. I have not used the collar yet, I do not want to spook him before I learn proper techniques and...
