I saw this wonderful potted plant on the footpath which was left alone because it was almost drying out. I don't know why it was abandoned I checked if any owner comes and takes the plant away but not one came .
So i brought it home! I hope I can be great a plant mom too!

I had a neighbor once who had two of these and they were HUGE but, more importantly, i LOVE the color. It's so vibrant. I've since moved but always wanted this tree in my yard.
Luckily, my in-laws neighbor has one and I managed to get some pics.
Pleeease, what is this?
Area is pacific northwest

Hello! I’ve been trouble shooting this tree for a few weeks now and can’t think of anything else to do:
It was planted late November, looked like it was doing really good into around April when it started to lose leaves/ brown
I uncovered the base of the tree from rocks that the landscaper had put there
Landscaper also put a huge stake that rubbed into the tree and cut into a lot of the branches so I cut that in half
It was only getting about 20 min of watering from a small irrigation hose a day so I started watering it by hose every day
I’m out of ideas I’m go to make this little guy h ..read more

Hello everyone, it is been two days that I am working incessantly to set up a relax area under the Taxus I have in the garden, even if I know how poisonous it is. Until now I have underestimated the risk, thinking that it is dangerous only if I ingest parts of it. Now I have a doubt: if I stay for hours a day under the crown of the tree (without obviously ingesting anything) do I run health risks? Sorry for my bad english, thank you for your replies.

I’m trying to select some trees for my backyard and wondering what these are I see fairly commonly around Oklahoma. My guessing is eastern red cedars that have been aggressively trimmed to no longer have a pyramidal shape, can anyone help?

I’m worried that the broken stump might cause rot or something bad to the trunk and tree. The branch is about 1 foot diameter. Pin oak( I think) It’s a great old tree I don’t want to lose or have problems down the road. Appreciate any advice. NW Oregon.

This tree was cut down and it had a very deep hole in the stump base. Looks like it’s some sort of fungus that’s causing the tree to rot.
How long would have this tree lasted before it died? (It was very close to my house so I had it cut down).

I cut this tree down in my yard (eastern NC, USA) and believe I know what it is, at least I think I’ve narrowed it down between two possibilities. Was wondering if anyone could provide insights given what remains of it. It’s pretty nondescript tree but the wood inside is beautiful and reasonably easy to work with. Sorry I don’t have any leaf pics. ?
