Today, we are looking at Jesus in His earthly ministry. He once again expresses to the Pharisees that He is God in the flesh. They refuse to believe the truth. We are continuing our verse-by-verse Bible study through the Gospel of John.  Jesus gives it straight in this teaching. He lets them know they are not of His Father in heaven, but instead, they are of their Father, the devil. Can you imagine the looks on their faces? Today, we face many people who profess Christ but act like the devil. How can we better represent Our Father in Heaven?    CONNECT WITH ME: https://www.bethe ..read more

In this lesson, Jesus continues to build upon the beatitudes. He explained to the crowd that they must humble themselves and recognize that they are sinners. In this section, He now goes on to teach that once we realize we are sinners, we need to mourn over our sins. Having a heart of repentance is key to salvation. Jesus does not just leave us there to mourn; He then promises to comfort all who repent and believe. This is the beauty of the gospel.  In this episode, we break down what it means to mourn and to be comforted by God. There is homework in this lesson. Please reflect and share ..read more
