Ah, the holiday season! A time for cozy gatherings, twinkling lights, and – for the clue crew – many of our traditions involve both unraveling mysteries and savoring the culinary delights of different cultures!
My favorite holiday snack this time of year is the sugar cookies my grandma always made. I never thought about it before, but it is a little funny: we used homemade dough for the cookies but just regular canned frosting off the shelf. I will definitely be dusting the recipe card off and using it to bake my entries for the annual Nancy Drew cookie decorating contest that is right a ..read more

Hi there Sassy Detectives!
I last left you after I went on a ghost hunt fit for Frank and Joe, but today is day 4 and my final day at the Nancy Drew convention. Try to hold back your tears, I know what you’re thinking. Today is the last Nancy Drew convention ASB… for now anyway! Plenty of more conventions to go to in the future and maybe something will remind me of a story or two from this one that I want to share later.
The convention day started with some free time to walk around the tables that were set up. My two favorites were the ND Sleuth Shop set up by Jenn Fisher, the organizer ..read more

Hotchkiss to earth, come in earth!
What are two things Professor Hotchkiss and I have in common? We both have eaten ate energy globules (okay, well, mine was a granola bar) while feverishly typing away in a hotel room. This is my Nancy Drew way of saying on day three of the Nancy Dew Convention I got some work done in the morning before I moseyed on into Salem for a free afternoon. After such a busy Nancy-packed day 2 I was honestly excited for a calm morning. Wanting to not completely turn into Hotchkiss, I left my hotel room with three items to check off.

Hey there Clue Crew!
In the last ASB, I left you just as my first official day at the Nancy Drew Convention ended. Time to share the scoop on day two! Day two was filled with optional excursions. We started out boarding a bus bright and early that would take us to Ogunquit, Maine! As the bus drove further up to the coast, I couldn’t help but feel like I was driving to Horseshoe Bay! Jenn Fisher of Nancy Drew Sleuths had planned this excursion to be themed after the Nancy Drew CW show with lots of Aglaeca themes. Prior to the 2023 Convention coming here, a previous convention year was held here ..read more

Hiya all you ATAC Members!
Frank and Joe still owe us that money!
While walking into Salem on the first day of this year’s Nancy Drew Convention (put on by Nancy Drew Fans), I couldn’t help but think about two of the original members of ATAC – Frank and Joe Hardy! One of the first buildings I passed was a fire station, and I saw the witch on their emblem, just like the Hardy Boys and Nancy talked about. I kept my eyes peeled and saw a few more emblems with witches during my visit. I know Greenwich, Connecticut once had a witch on their fire department emblem, but I’m on Nancy’s side and that t ..read more
