Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder
For reference, PMDD took such a toll on me that it took me well over a year to write this article with treatment. After four years of feeling like something is wrong with me emotionally and physically, I am finally getting to the bottom.
I remember the exact moment I really lost my inspiration. I was uploading some photos onto this website, thinking, “Why do I even bother? Why do I do this? Nobody cares.” After that moment, I stopped writing. I stopped working on my website overall. I did not want to do anything.
That was about two years ago. It ..read more

The truth about being a stay at home dad
You know that quote by John Wooden?

Celebrating Mother’s Day this year differently
This Mother’s Day is going to be a bit different for those of us who are used to spending it with our mothers and extended family. It is an additional reality check that hits us as we approach another holiday.
While many state or city “stay at home” bans are being lifted, health professionals are still urging people to stay home. Many will be celebrating Mother’s Day from afar, which means a good portion of us will not be seeing our moms this year.

We can control what we do with our bodies for our health
This week my city announced that our “Stay Home, Stay Safe” ordinance will continue for another month.
That means another month of businesses shut down and staying home again for many of us across the country.

While we feel like we can’t control much except our own actions of social distancing, we can control what we put in and what ..read more
