I am having running issues on my 2015 Audi a6 2.0 TDI avant 122,000 miles. 190ps ultra. Manual transmission. Car has been scanned with VCDD no DTC/fault codes or engine management lights. To explain: when I drive in 1st, 2nd and 3rd fully smooth through rev range whether I accelerate slowly or floor it. 4th is a bit intermittent until higher revs 3000+, 5th and 6th I get shaking and vibrating but also feels like it effects power. Hello, hope someone can shed a bit of light on this for me, I have a Allroad A6 3.0tdi sport quattro with 74000:mile on it, my car make a noise like pinking ,the noise you get in petrol engines when fuel is wrong for example. Has anyone switched from Conti DWS 06+ to the Michelin Cross Climate 2 on their A6? I am aware of the Consumer Reports and Tire Rack tests - both are good tires, but wondering if anyone has switched and then noticed whether the ride is different: noisier, harsher, etc. I've had 2 sets of the DWS 06 on my A6, and a second car, and have been happy with them. My sons have the CC 2 on their cars (A3 and Camry) and they handle well. Many on this forum seem to like the CC 2.
