I’ve come to the conclusion that Xbox doesn’t like seagate. I bought the 2TB HDD yesterday and I’ve tried everything to get it to work as an internal. Formatted to FAT32, tried NTFS, and tried Fat Xplorer with no luck. Even tried hooking it up my stock 360 and no luck, it wouldn’t even show up. The only way it shows up is if it’s an external. On my RGH Trinity, any Rock Band before RB3 does not let me pause mid song unless I’m in practice mode. This is happening with RB1, RB2, LEGO, and all the track packs. I’ve tried booting straight from the discs and the same thing happens. Went back to my stock Trinity and it works fine there. Hi! So YEARS ago a friend modded my v1 xbox, he flashed the chip by soldering these two red wires to the board. When he was done he left the wires there but said “you don’t need them there, but they also wont hurt anything”. One end was left soldered to the board and the other free floating. They’ve always kinda bothered me though so i figured i’d remove them. The first one was no problem, but the one on the bottom of the board ended up pulling part of the trace up along with it. Pulled my old Xbox I got as a kid and looking to remove the much talked about clock capacitor and identify the modchip. My family bought it second hand and the prior owner had installed the mod chip so unsure of what it was.
