My very trusted mechanic recently retired, and I am not sure yet how much to trust the new shop I started going to. We have two Versas- a 2015 manual hatchback and a 2016 manual. Both are coming up on 100,000 miles, which I guess means they’ll need their suspension replaced as part of routine maintenance. Is that true? (We generally drive like grandmas, and most of our driving is on decent and flat roads.) And should I be paying attention to what brand/type of replacement the shop uses? i just recently a 2014 nissan versa. it’s a salvaged title but the mechanics of the car have always been fine. today i accidentally locked my keys in the car while they were in the ignition (not sure how i even forgot about them) i wasn’t sure what to do so i just called AAA and they opened the door a couple hours later and left. afterwards i took off my emergency brake and moved my car to a better spot in the driveway i slightly touched the brakes and the car stopped so aggressively. not sure why it’s doing this and i have to drive 2 hours home today. someone please help me?? submitted by ..read more

I just bought a 2024 Nissan Versa S. I really like the way it drives, the gas mileage, etc, but I have seen many comments about the CVT’s giving out at low mileage. I’m concerned about this as I am a teen who just bought their first car, and wondering if I made the wrong choice and if this will end up giving out on me in a short amount of time. Bought my Versa brand new back in September, and I’m really enjoying it. I had a 2009 years ago which I also liked but traded it in after 4 years to get a civic. Loved the civic but it was totaled by another driver last year so I went back to a Versa. Hello everyone, I just bought a 2013 sv and I’ve been doing service on it. It has 139k miles and I’ve so far flushed the coolant, changed the oil and oil filter, and I’ve changed the cabin filter. The air filter looks new and I was also going to change the cvt filter and oil when I order one next week. And also the brake fluid. Is there anything else I need to do you guys think is a good service for this car?
