Working on an ‘81 Panther with the 440 fan. Sled’s in great shape @ < 400 original miles. Bogged when I first purchased/ran it. Oil injection check valve appeared to be bad/flooding case with oil, so disengaged linkage to carb/ran pre-mix and replaced fuel lines, pump, cleaned tank/carb, and some minor touch up - usual stuff. Now it won’t even fire. Both cylinders have 130+ lbs (haven’t done a leak-down, but bad seals shouldn’t cause this…?). Had to adjust TSS, but it’s fine and have...

I have a 1973 EXT 440 that is in need of either new cylinder heads or can the originl heads be re-nickeled and rebored. The heads I have are 440RX/2A and because they were exposed to atmosphere the nickel bore coating is blistering. Any info would be very much appreciated. Ken ..read more

Have this O.E.M. cover for either a 1991 or 92' Prowler, looks like for a 2 up. Has some holes here and there just wondering what it might be worth ball park pricewise ( have it on a 1990 Prowler 1 up) took the pics on a really bright sunny day so pics kinda look like the colors are somewhat washed out/faded. Straps are all there.

My choke cable broke, and in the process of trying to get the cable out of the dash without having to remove the fuel tank I pulled a red wire with a white stripe off of something. I think it is supposed to go to the hand/thumb warmer switch, but I can't see anywhere that looks like a broken terminal. When I broke the wire I lost spark, but if I pull the stator plug and jump the two non-yellow wires I get spark again. Anyone know where this wire is supposed to connect ..read more

I have a 92 Wildcat efi and cannot find skis that fit my 3-3/4” spindles. I've returned 3 sets so far and I'm growing more frustrated every day trying to find some.
Any help would be appreciated, as its finally snowing up here in the Northland on the Minnesota/Canadian border. Thanks ..read more

First post on here, hopefully this is a good forum cause I'm having a little trouble with my first Arctic Cat. A little background, bought a broken 1992 jag deluxe 440 with electric start to fix up and it had no spark. The no spark issue was the kill switch being broken so I replaced that, cleaned the carb, and put fresh gas in and it runs perfect (almost as good as my ski-doo :lol. It starts on the second pull cold and it has bright blue spark on both cylinders. The problem is that...

Would any of you guys know what the ID of the coolant bypass hose is on an 81 el tigre 6000? 3007-022 is the superceded part and looks like the same part was used into the early 90's. Mine has sprung a leak and I can't see why a regular peice of heater hose won't work ..read more
