I’ve flip-flopped more times than I can count about doing another “ground-up” project but for some time I’ve been thinking about a couple of projects that I’d really like to attempt. The annual Legends Laps will be this Thursday, February 16th at the World Championship Derby Complex in Eagle River, WI. Past champ racers will be taking a spin on the derby track. Other vintage race sleds will be on display in the Expo Hall. Free admission with a 10AM start. Should be a great day to watch. I have a carb on my sled that is leaking gas out of the vent hose coming off the carb. It is also idleing faster than normal. If I plug one vent hose gas comes out the other vent hose. I rebuilt the upper end a couple of years ago and have not run it since. It was leaking than. Any idea's as to why gas juse pours out of those hoses ..read more

Sometimes you have to pick up where you left off, or in my case start over with the same but different sleds. I found these local at a estate sale, parked in a barn since 1991 & 1997. Supposed to be one owner sleds. I let all my spare parts go with my last two so hopefully I don't need to hunt down too many things.
