I am interested in leasing a Lucid air. Here is the concern: I live in Honolulu where Lucids are so rare that I have seen only one (I think)! Lucid says they deliver to Hawaii, and also have service in Hawaii. My specific concern is about body shop repair. Lucid said they partner with various body shops. That seems vague to me. I know, owning a Tesla, that for long time there was only one body shop in Honolulu doing Tesla repair; they invested heavily in specialized equipment. Most bodyshops...

Having had many motors fail I have decided I need to try rewinding - my pile of motors not working is now sizable...
I have never done this before but have read many of the threads which are very helpful, but still leave a couple of questions:
The motor is from HONEST HLS.
1/ What size armature wire should I use?
2/ How many turns per segment (I understand this affects rpm/torque) ?
3/ And, is there a good online supplier of wire that would ship to rural france - or does amazon...

Hello everyone,
New Air Pure owner and I am loving it. Quick question, I have the 80 amp home charging station on a 100 amp breaker installed a couple weeks ago. I have a relatively small solar system 4.8KW that produces 3.9kw. When I charge the Pure, I can tell from the Enphase solar app they the car charger is pulling 17-19KW. I am wondering if there is a way via the car or Wi-Fi (to the charger) to dial down the amperage so it will only pull close to 3.9kw produced. I know it will be a...

Hi all
There’s a Gravity in Tysons Corner in Virginia.
Notice the 4 sections on the right side of the main screen? Don’t you think this new UI would be in the Air soon?

A gorgeous silver Gravity is visiting!
It's in the Tysons Corner Studio (not the service center, where I mistakenly showed up first!) now until May 30th. Roped off as usual, but you can still get a good view, and James was kind enough to open all kinds of doors and fiddle with things for me.

I have a Valentine One (Gen 2) radar detector (only used outside of my home state of VA, of course) that I have yet to use in the Lucid. I understand from previous posts the windshield might be different on my car versus later builds. I know my EZPass (RFID) only works in the lower corner of the windshield on the passenger side as it's clear there's an area where there is no factory coating or tint. I am wondering if placing my radar detector in the middle of the windshield will result in...
