Has anyone ever had to have a tooth removed on their duck dog? And did it have any effect on them? My 9 year old lab has had a cracked tooth for probably 5 years. Its one of his K9s and it hasn't been a problem at all until recently. It is starting to turn dark and is becoming sensitive. I am going to get it checked out, and I assume they might suggest pulling it. Zach Cooley posted on FB that the pumps are now in place and working! Right now they are gravity draining. Once they cannot get anymore water out that way they will start running the pumps! There’s an excellent podcast on Meateater about Duck DNA and the studies that are being done on what’s going on with mallards. The DR talks of current studies being done.
