I bought a new comouter to tun windows 11. Nothing special compared to my old win 10 which had lots of drives and two 24 inch screens. Its a Lenovo 15 inch laptop. When it arrived it was running windows 10 and worked perfectly. Then it updated to windows 11. It did warn me that the OS was not yet a releaseable version but I carried on regardless. Please tell me someone knows a way to leave the Dev channel without wiping all the data off their hard drive. These updates have been repeatedly wrecking my PC's functionality and I've had enough, but unfortunately I seem to be stuck here until I'm willing to throw all my data away. I received some kind of system updates last evening On both my laptop running Home and desktop running Pro. Both were left to install with the laptop set to turn off upon completion. This morning I started the laptop which was a normal process through the fingerprint sign into Windows, which resulted in a black screen and my cursor. Alt Ctrl Del brought up the Task Manager. Hi Guys. When Windows 11 was released, I quickly joined the insider program (Beta). I just as quickly left it again, as I saw no advantage for me personally. In order to receive feedback from Insiders regarding the Search Icon in the taskbar, MS has added the text "Search" to the right of the Search Icon on the taskbar for some, not all users running one of the latest three "Dev" versions of the Insider builds.
