Title explains what I would like to accomplish, but I have no idea how to get there! There are pictures/folders on each laptop that I would like to view and don't want to copy them from one laptop to the other if I can avoid that. Is this possible and how do I go about doing it? This is a weird problem I have never seen before. My HPP2015dn network printer has been USB connected to my Verizon FIOS Gateway router for 2 years. Lately the router port goes inactive much more frequently, perhaps after an hour's inactivity, and I have to power cycle the printer to print something. I know how to access the router and display connections, but I don't see a setting to keep a port open assuming that's even the approach I should be taking. Any suggestions welcome ..read more

My tech skills are leaving me faster than both my ex-wives. I’m staying with a friend while my house gets remodeled….. She just switched from Spectrum to AT&T Fiber. She has an older HP computer with Windows 8 and an AMD E1-2500 cpu. I’m using a little newer Dell with Windows 10 and an I5 cpu. I have 9 computers on a network. All running Win 10 Pro. One acts as the file server. All computers with the exception of one machine reconnect to the server when they start up. One machine always has to reenter the computer name and password. Checking the Remember Credentials box has no effect. I have two different Grace Digital Radios. The company went out of business and another company bought them. When I go to a station it says, "no gateway" I called support and was told my two radios are not supported by the new company.
