I did some snow wheeling with @Tarvos yesterday. This park always struck me as a little sketch compared to other PA parks because it winds through active mining and Railroad owned land. But the off limits areas were very well marked so it would be tough to wander into a trespassing situation. Some pics: Me preparing to be dragged out after sliding off into the bushes. [ATTACH... This seems to be a common question, but I can’t find an answer relating to the addition of flares. I have a 2018 JLU and put on aftermarket tires. Due to offset, they stick out 1/4 inch. I was told I would be failed at two shops around me, so decided to get some fender flares. I ended up purchasing the Mopat Xtreme Recon Flare extensions (Genuine Mopar Xtreme Recon Fender Flare Extensions Set Of Four - JLRECONFLAREEXT | All Mopar... Just moved up to Altoona from Harrisburg. Had a really good shop there but a two-plus hour run is a bit much for the basics. Does anyone know a reputable shop with actual Jeep experience in the region? I have a '17 JKU with 2" Rancho lift and 35's. Don't really like the dealership aspect. Thanks ..read more

I bought a 2020 Gladiator, clean carfax, at a used lot. Has frame damage front passenger side at swing bar mount. Trying to get a full report and estimate from an actual Jeep dealership that looked at it but they haven’t been responding. Lemon lawyers say I might have a case but they won’t take it. Not sure if it can even pass inspection. Any garages and welders please PM ..read more

I'm trying to form a small jeep club located in the Lehigh Valley. I've noticed a lot of people asking about clubs in this area and the closest clubs I know about are out in Hamburg, PA and the other in East Hanover, NJ. It'd be nice to have something closer for those who live here in the Lehigh Valley. I put a little website together to help get things started. If you're interested, send me a message through this site our the club website... Lehigh Valley Jeep Club ..read more

Rausch Creek Vs. Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area...

I am fortunate in the fact that I live just 10 minutes from AOAA, and about 1/2 hour from Rausch Creek. Last year I had the 1 year membership ($100) for AOAA, and used it about 7 or 8 times. I (and wife) stuck to the very easy trails but managed to hit just about all of the trials on the eastern part of the property. This year I am hoping they get access to the western property because I believe that is where some of the better trails are. I see Rausch Creek has a $15 membership, but you... Rausch Creek Vs.
