Hello! I own a Nissan Versa, 2012, SV model. 175,000 miles. Heres my issue: when I am driving, it randomly jerks. It feels like it shifts fine, no grinding. There is no specific speed that it does so, it is random. Put cleaner in it, believing it was bad gas. Still it jerked. First mechanic checked the computer. Engine looked fine. Hello, I have driven a 2012 Versa since 2013. Automatic transmission. Not a bad car. 1.8 liter. Gas mileage in this car is has been terrible. Love the room inside, love the hatchback. Don't love how sluggish it is when accelerating but, the price was right. Fast forward to today. I'm out there looking for a newer car. I was considering another Versa until I saw the new Note, 2016. The cargo space is smaller and overall car a bit smaller. Hi, I'm going to sell my Nissan Versa 2012 soon. I was naive that I believed the rust on my car (passenger side, rear quarter panel) would be gone so easily. When I visited local auto body shop today, I came across the brutal truth -- the rust removal is only temporary and it will return in 2-3 months!!! The cost will be $500 + If it is only a temporary fix, I'm not sure if it's worth. I'd have to warn buyers that the rust will come back. 2010 base model versa (around 56K) will occasionally not start. Typically it is a "hot" start (but not always) and actually doesn't manifest the same way all the time. Sometimes it sounds like it is trying to start (e.g. starter sounds) but doesn't turn over and other times although there is power, there is no starter sound at all. Nissan replaced my fuel pump last week. The day I picked it up to drive home I noticed a small jerk (skip). During the week the car has started right up every time I went out until today when I left work. When I turned the key it cranked for about a second then fade out. The dash lights work about my wipers are a bit sluggish. The car started right up with a jump and I drove it home (about 3 min drive) about an hour later I tried to start it and it did not start.
