I'm trying to archive a Workbench project. Someone moved some geometry files to another folder, but I've repaired the paths of everything and there's nothing marked in red in the "files" window.
However, when I make a new archive, i get this message when opening the file: "Failed to extract the project archive 'XXXXXXXX' the archive may be invalid". The project seems completely empty.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Everything I view is at 720 x 1280 (my monitor is 4k). Even if I try to download the videos, they are at 720 x 1280. Text is illegible. I looked for settings, but haven't found them.

How to get rid of stresses that converge to infinity? I've tried using rounded corners, etc., but it doesn't help. On the website https://medium.com/@nickjstevens/practical-tips-for-dealing-with-stress-singularities-nick-j-stevens-1fe6a57d55a9, I read that one of the ways is to ignore them, and I would like to do that here. My question is, can I remove the maximum stresses so that the graph only shows stresses within the given range? How else can I deal with this? Mesh refinement causes values to increase (to infinity).

Hello everyone,
I need to calculating an Induction motor Displacement(mm) due to magnetic force. In ANSYS Maxwell, I have drawn 36 arcs for the 36 stator slot teeth in the middle of the airgap and enabled the harmonic force calculation, as well as configured the DesignXplorer setup. In the modal analysis section, I imported a 3D model of the stator core with a frame that includes bolts and designated the bolt faces as fixed support. Then, I set up the modal analysis to search for a maximum of 100 modes and a frequency range of up to 5 kHz. In the harmonic response section, I applied a remote ..read more

Im trying to validate a simulation from a paper and they say that this data is added in the material data, I was able to add Youngs,Yield stress and poison ratio... I dont know how to add displacement at fracture and yield strain... any help is appreciated

Is the force convergence chart good, or can I improve something in it? I used 'Time Stepping' controlled by the program, and I got the values shown in the picture. Would it be better to use larger values? It is a nonlinear analysis. Thank you in advance.

Hi All,
I have been trying to simulate an antenna in HFSS. I am not able to plot gain vs frequency plot for far field radiation. I am using Ansys student version ( electronics desktop). Is there a way I can plot efficiency , gain etc vs frequency in student version?

For context I am using ANSYS FLUENT
I know this might be not a good question, but I tried to export cdat file from my workbench after I was done the solution tab is showing a refresh symbol and the results tab is showing a pending update symbol if I refresh the solution tab I won't lose my previous calculation right ? I just need to know that the calculation won't restart from scratch and I lose my previous solution data .
Thanks

Hi! I'm hoping someone can help answer some questions about Ansys Maxwell. I am new on Ansys and now working on a simulation for a coilgun designed for a steel ball and have watched some tutorials on magnetostatics. Since English is not my native language, I have some uncertainties about certain terms.
Stranded coil - Is it really a coil with copper wire featuring multiple layers of N turns? If so, how does it account for wire gauge, ohmic losses, winding tightness, etc.? Can't find them.
Edit - I meant current excitation with type stranded
For eddy current, I am planning to use a capacitor a ..read more
