I’m in the middle of the second semester right now, and figured I would update you all on my favorite foods so far! New Orleans has some of the BEST gluten free food I’ve ever had, and I love all of the amazing options uptown around campus! If you are gluten free, and looking into... This is my favorite restaurant near campus hands down. Ba Chi is addicting. I am craving sweet chili tofu and spring rolls legitimately always. 24/7. I could eat Ba Chi every day, and I know I wouldn’t get tired of it. I’m super passionate about pasta, yes (as you’ll know if you rad my last... If you have been following my blog and my instagram for a while, you’ll know that one of my favorite foods is pasta. I’m not a picky eater, but there’s something so comforting about it. I don’t understand people who don’t like pasta, because it’s so versatile. If you don’t like tomato sauce there are... Rimon is my favorite place to eat on campus. It’s not a New Orleans restaurant, per say, as it’s fully a part of Tulane, inside of Hillel, and accepts Tulane dining dollars, but out of everything I’ve had to eat since moving down to New Orleans for school, it’s on my list of favorites. Because... Read More The post Meal Diary 3- Rimon at Tulane Hillel appeared first on Lychee & Lavender ..read more

One of the restaurants I LOVED here in New Orleans is Addis Nola. It’s classic Ethiopian food, eaten without utensils and instead with Injera: a type of bread made from teff flour. Usually, Injera has barley in it, but at Addis it was 100% gluten free. I LOVED my meal. I ate at Addis this... Living Well In NOLA: finding a balanced gluten free diet

The hardest part about eating in New Orleans and in college in general was the dining hall food. I don’t want to go too in depth on it here because it isn’t relevant, and I don’t want to talk trash about Sydexo, because the staff has been incredibly helpful at times and I know they... Hi! It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here, especially a recipe (I PROMISE some will come soon while I’m home during winter break) but there will be a bunch of new posts coming over the next few days! Every freshman at Tulane has to take a “TIDES” course, which is essentially a seminar... Read More The post My First Semester at Tulane University appeared first on Lychee & Lavender ..read more
