Hello i have a problem ever since i bought my car. Its a sunroof drain flood car or a hurricane ian flood car. the problem: the car is hesitating when lightly on the throttle and accelerating. It kindve starts accelerating then slows down lurching you forward. Almost as if ive taken my foot off the throttle about 20%. S40 2006 155000kms 2.4L 125kw I finally scanned my check engine light after purchasing a scanner I assumed before that my problem was needing a new fuel pressure sensor. I bought a non-running 2006 s40. I think it's not starting simply because the coolant temp sensor got unplugged and the car thinks it's overheating (crank no start). It looks to me that someone has done a timing belt job on it semi-recently, bc the belt looks to be in great condition. I can turn my steering wheel quite a bit without much response. It has a lot of play and is not very responsive. What are the first things I should check to diagnose this, and how can I tell if they are bad? From reading, it seems like tie rods may be a good place to start, but I'm not sure what to look for. Hi all, the LED's lighting the gauges (speedo, tach, fuel, temp) on my 05 V50 have slowly but surely burnt out over the past little while. As a result, it is impossible to see my speed, fuel (aside from trip computer), and engine temperature at night. Whelp, I've been scouring forums trying to find someone who had the same issue I have and have found some success but not really. However, I haven't been able to find a solution that works for me.
