Bought a 2004 s60 with the valet key only. I have access to a 2005 S60 that's totalled that has a working set of keys, fobs, cylinder and security ECU. Can I just swap the whole thing or does it need any programming? If it needs programming, what does that entail? Thanks Michael ..read more

so i have researched for weeks and nothing i have found is working. i have a 2005 s60 2.5T and the turn signal switch stops working after driving for about 10 minutes. No brights, no signals and the message dial doesnt work. I just bought and installed a new turn signal switch (arm) and that did not solve the problem. The current problem I have with my S60 is one I just can’t solve. When I first start my car in the mornings the lights on my steering wheel are flashing and very dim and don’t work at all. My turn signal control switch also doesn’t function properly. The turn signals are heavily delayed and high beams won’t come on at all. I have decided to install the TransGo solenoid rebuild kit in my 05 S60 due to common transmission shifting issues. I currently have her on jack stands about 12-14" off the ground and lower cover off. What is the best method to gain clearance to get to the valvebody cover to remove it and remove the valve body?
