My Volvo S40, 1996 suddenly do not show any information in the speedometer panel (alle the counters are off)! It started 14 days ago! And I hoped the information on the panel would return again after a while! I have experinced the same situation earlier - in 10 years about 5 times. My hood release latch on the drivers side of my 2010 s80 is stuck, won’t release when I pull the release cable. The passenger side does release. I’m trying to get to the latch through the front grill so I can get the hood open and replace the latch/release cable. I’ve seen a few articles and videos on releasing the clips holding the grill in place. But I’m having trouble getting them to release. Hello everybody I bought a Volvo s40 2005 and it feels very sluggish, I don't know how to explain it but it won't pull you in your seat when you floor it, it sort off feels like you set off normally but when you set off normally it feels normal if that makes sense we have a 2006 v50 2.0D 136hp which as the same engine and it feels nothing like it, the car as been sat for 3 months preciously just wondered if anybody had any thoughts on what it could be thank you! Hello. This is my first post, and it concerns my 2001 S40 with the 1.9L Turbo engine. I bought it 1.5 months ago in Louisiana and drove it to Ohio (about 1,000 miles) and it had about 77k on it when I bought it. We had the timing belt, serpentine belt, water pump, and oil change done before the drive home. It made it home! But it has a recurring problem. I recently bought an s40 t5 for my wife at an auction. When I seen it, I plugged my code reader in and checked all the fluids and such. It all seemed fine. So I decided to drive it home about 100 miles away. About halfway through the trip, the coolant level low and engine overheat warning came on the indicator. Navigation screen does not close and drains battery. The screen reads...insert disk. As far as I know, the disk was never removed. When I hit the eject button nothing ejects. I inserted a random music cd, it accepts the cd. Does the system have a slot for more than one cd? If not this proves the original is missing. I currently must remove the fuse each time which also disconnects the radio. I believe it is not a gear problem because every once in awhile the screen goes down. I would...
