Hello! My mother just purchased a used 2011 S40 with the 2.5 turbo engine. Coming from a late 90s Toyota she really liked the car. She did test drive the car but did not take it on the highway which is convenient for me.. Applying the brakes at highway speeds results in a pretty decent shake in the front end and a faint audible sound. 99 S70 with 122K miles. I changed the oil trap and stopped the oil leaks. Now I have antifreeze leaking into the oil pan. When changing out the oil trap, I noticed there was a connection under the left side of the Air Intake Manifold. This connection is a junction of three hoses; two from the breather hose and one going to a connection near the thermostat (and thus antifreeze). My Volvo S40, 1996 suddenly do not show any information in the speedometer panel (alle the counters are off)! It started 14 days ago! My hood release latch on the drivers side of my 2010 s80 is stuck, won’t release when I pull the release cable. The passenger side does release. I’m trying to get to the latch through the front grill so I can get the hood open and replace the latch/release cable. I’ve seen a few articles and videos on releasing the clips holding the grill in place. But I’m having trouble getting them to release. Hello. This is my first post, and it concerns my 2001 S40 with the 1.9L Turbo engine. I bought it 1.5 months ago in Louisiana and drove it to Ohio (about 1,000 miles) and it had about 77k on it when I bought it. We had the timing belt, serpentine belt, water pump, and oil change done before the drive home. It made it home! But it has a recurring problem. I recently bought an s40 t5 for my wife at an auction. When I seen it, I plugged my code reader in and checked all the fluids and such. It all seemed fine. So I decided to drive it home about 100 miles away. About halfway through the trip, the coolant level low and engine overheat warning came on the indicator.
