So my Volvo starting acting real funny, been getting misfire codes & the standard limp message on the dash. So I changed the coils and plugs. Both oem. Changed air filter ,cleaned throttle body. I ran injector’s cleaner through the system. Here we are today still had the misfire and occasional stalling. Not really sure where else to do. I'm looking for advice for my upcoming drive-e 2.0 engine exchange. I ordered what I hope to be a good 2017 2.0 engine with only 20k miles from a local salvage yard. I have been pouring oil into my 2015 V60 for way too long, and I'm now showing only 50-psi in cylinder #1, so after considering all the options I have decided to tackle this myself. 2015 V60 2.0l FWD drive-e 106000mi. While bore scoping my cylinders for oil burning/compression check, different topic, I leaned on a coolant line which I believe could only be for the turbo and it cracked. the whole thing going from front of car back to the turbo is/was very brittle. Hey everyone, I have a 2015 S60 T6 RD. About two weeks ago, I went through the process of removing the cowl and false firewall in order to install an Elevate J-Pipe and a GFB DV+. It actually went mostly without issues, besides my arms looking like I was attacked by a gang of stray cats. The only issue I ran into is what seems to be a fitment issue. We have had some bad luck with this car. It's super low millage for the age - around 30k miles for a 2015. 18months ago a belt blew, and we ended up with having to replace the engine. This was obviously a huge cost, especially for an older car, but we didn't have the cash to trash the car and buy something new. looking to replace my 150A alt, FCP has Bosch and Volvo remans for 400-600 respectively /w core…while rock auto has 150A reman bosch for $360 /w core….and a 180A NEW bosch for less than $200. 180A has a 6 groove OAP, any reason I can’t just get the 180A, swap the 6 for a 5 groove OAP from my current alt, and suffer marginally worse parasitic loss? Or even just keep the 6 groove OAP with one unused? Am I missing something here ..read more

Hello, So, first I want to start off by describing a couple issues I’m having with my 2013 S60 T5 2WD 1. When sitting in idle, or if I’m simply applying the break at a red light, my car will be idling normally, and then it will suddenly sputter or shutter as if it’s coughing or sneezing, and then go right back to normal. Hey all, I have a 2016 US Spec V60 T5 2.0 4cyl. Two days ago I noticed a ticking noise, it went away later that day. The next day it came back, but after the car had about 10 miles on it on my drive home from work. It happens around 2k RPM, and sounds more like a flutter when the window is down vs ticking when the cabin is closed up.
