Hi all, I've read a few posts about the anti-skid message but I'm hoping to get more clarification. Yesterday the "anti-skid service required" message came on shortly after the "Time for regular maintenance" message appeared. I have just over 84K miles on the car. I recently had an alignment done (last week) and I'm also aware that A) my front brakes are just about due for replacement, and B) I seem to have an out-of-balance wheel because I get a noticeable vibration around 60mph. Morning - newbie post (current S60 ownership = 16 hours). I tried to open the boot by doing the leg-kick thing and that failed .. which is fine, I felt pretty idiotic. However, when I then pushed the 'close and lock' button, nothing happened. I'd kind of assumed this was a magic lazy button that closes (and locks) the boot? 2008 Volvo S60 cranks but won't start. Was driving and it started sputtering so I pulled over and as soon as I put it in Park it shut off. I can turn the key and it will sound like its going to start but won't. The car has 127xxx miles ran fine up until this point. Hi, everyone, new guy here. 2009 S60 2.5T I want to completely remove the alarm system. It's 14 yo and doesn't work anyway. I don't want to pay $300 for another siren module or restore the alarm system to functionality at all. I'm getting the dash message "Alarm System Service Required", and I'm just enough OCD that that appearing every time I crank the car drives me crazy.
