So after shooting a deer and gutting it always have hunted over a bait pile for some easy dogs . I’ve made some baiticles this year with old meat and have them out in the fields nothing hitting it yet .. wanted to try to imitate a fresh gut since the birds find it within mins and bring in the dogs . So I have whole dead hogs obviously frozen right now . Just throwing them out in the field they will not smell or bring in birds instantly.. should I unthaw these in hot water and cut them...
