Lil red Bluff Josie has really come a long way in her 1st season. You hear that little 3 chop locate, better shake a vine with your gun ready ..read more

A fella GON brother, invited me to go squirrel hunting. He had a new dog only had a week that we took because his female was in heat. We absolutely had a HOOT! The squirrels weren't moving to good but listening to the dog and the camaraderie of the hunt is more thrilling than the kill. We ended up meeting up with another nice fella with a Kimber dog (I believe that's right) and we had a big time. We ended up with one squirrel the only one seen all day but it was a blast. The best part is my... Read more ..read more

Hi all, new to the site here and moved back to GA after several years away. I'm in the augusta area, any coon hunters around willing to let a novice tag along? or anyone know of a hunt club in the area? I got a male redbone going on about 3 years old, i've had him out a few times (not near as much as I would like) but i'd like to have him around some more experienced dogs. he's got good instinct and usually gets along with other dogs pretty well. The area I was in before was very... Read more ..read more

My question to others who hunt with dogs is what do you prefer, mornings or evenings? I understand that most of us just go when we can, but if you had a month of Saturdays and had to choose, which would it be? Additionally, do you prefer cloudy or blue bird sky days? I ask this because the last two... Read more ..read more
