Finally had a morning today where I didn't have to be anywhere by a certain time and could actually hunt without feeling rushed. Had a couple get away on me…one was on the edge of a hollow part of the trunk when I shot and didn't realize it until after I shot him. The other fell off the tree within two feet of a hole I couldn't dig him out of and was just alive enough to make it down in there. Other than that I had a dandy morning.
