Hi all, I towed my box trailer a couple days ago and since then my reverse sensors have not worked. When I place the car in reverse it just has a continuous noise and renders the reverse sensors inoperable. I did notice some slight corrosion on the male plug. With my 2008 Q7 4.2 TTDI, over the last few weeks I have noticed that there is a fan type noise coming from the front passenger wheel area while the car is not being used and engine off. It does not happen just after the engine is switched off but some time later the noise will start. It may be 30 minutes or more after switching off and will continue for 20 minutes or more before it stops, only to start again later. Hi all. Sorry if this has been covered before, but have just joined, and also just picked up a 14' Q7 SLine as a weekend cruiser. Great machine. Bought it off a mate, have driven before, and also hooked my (previous) iPhone into it with no issues. Day 1 : system wanted reset, picked up my iPhone. (and directory) Day 2 : no way it was gonna connect, neither any subsequent days. Kept looping in Bluetooth mode, frustrating. No joy. Day 7 : Random start up, it connects like nothing happened... I experienced this strange issue today in my 2023 Q3 while stopped at a set of traffic lights in Drive the car appeared to slip back into Neutral by itself, I only noticed this when trying to pull away as the engine just revved. It has only happened once so far and car is still under warranty Same issue in the forum below Transmission moving from Drive into Neutral - itself! Hi team. I’ve recently done some pretty significant work to my 2016 q7 4M 3.0 TDI (engine out of the car) and I have one part left I can’t quite find a home for. I’m quite sure it’s from around the rocker cover area on the right side of the engine as you sit in the car (Australian here…..so right hand drivers side). Hi All. I have a 2022 Q5 TFSI. from the last week, I noticed the rear center seatbelt is not fully retracting on its own. I just started to use this in the last 2 months for my parents. When you unfasten, the small portion losely stays out and need a slight push to go back fully. I read the manual and couldnt find if this has anything to do with any manual or electrical settings. Hi All, Thanks for reading this and hopefully any of you can give some ideas. I have 2015 Q5 2L TFSI petrol with just under 90000km. When engine is turned off, there is an unusual noise coming from the engine bay. It sounds like electrical pump or valves or something, it's hard to describe it (but I attached a zip file of the recorded noise I took). The noise goes on for about 1 min then goes away. Hello all. 2016 q7 4M 3.0 diesel. 170,000km. The car needs the timing chains / tensioner / guides etc replaced. I took the car to a mechanic today, (who incidentally was the worse mechanic I’ve been to in my life, and that’s saying something), who quoted me $12,000.
