Last night I changed the "self contained" in-line fuel filter (I think I am just shy of the change interval). When I poured the fuel out of it, the initial stream was clean diesel; what followed was a bit red. After I let it settle in the jar, I noticed the fine particulate. I have been hearing a loud humming noise from my 2014 Audi Q7 TDI for the past few weeks. The car is new-to-me about 6 months ago, so I know very little of the maintenance or driving history. The noise was not present when we bought it from as a trade-in from the Audi dealer. The noise is most audible between about 40-70mph and fades slightly above that. I have run the engine in multiple RPM ranges and there is no change at all in the noise. I have a 2012 Q7 (3.0 TDI 8 speed). I got it at 170000km on the clock. At 190000km I had a crankshaft snap and replaced the engine (hurt me right in the bank account.) Then 2000km after engine replacement I have to change the gearbox (ouch!). With engine and gearbox changed, is there any knock on effects of other parts that usually break after these kinds of repairs? should I sell or keep the car? Hi, my friend have an Audi Q7 3.0 which has a total brake loss problem. At first, we changed all of the front and rear brake pads and within 7 days the brake got totally loss without any indication. So we tried to bleed the brakes, we had make sure that it was already normal after the bleeding. There was no air and bubbles. And one day after the bleeding, when we test drive it the brake got totally loss without reaching 5km distance-long and the ABS indicator shows up in the cluster while the brake got totally loss. Hello, I am a new owner of a 2007 Audi Q7 and when I got the car, the TPMS Light was on, and the Air Bag light was on. After driving for a couple of days I have now realized that there are many issues regarding the electrical. The MMI system does not work, the radio, screen, or any of the buttons do not work. Backstory. I keep the moonroof open almost everyday and have never had issues. one particular storm was excessive and I rushed out to close the moonroof, the next day I noticed it was damp in the rear of the car. Dried it all out and didn't think much of it. Had a similar thing happen to me this Saturday. Right rear was damp, spare tire well was pooling up. I saw the water running down the seatbelt.
