I am getting a weird situation here, and it is not the first one with gpt-4o in the chat. I iterating on a code and ask it to fix the wrong usage of openAi API, repeatedly it is missing the point. Title says it all. I’ve rambled about this before but the new ChatGPT redesign is just awful. Whilst using the chatgpt app on iphone today, it lost ocnnection. When I clicked on retry/reconnect, it resumed the conversation, but large chunks of my conversation were now missing. I had been simultaneously been following the conversation in the web app to cut and paste bits into my work, and when I pressed refresh here it also lost the history. These design changes are making it hard to see my messages, plus I just hate texting-style layouts in non-texting things. Please give us a “legacy style” that allows us to not have to deal with this annoying style change. Look at how Wikipedia handled theirs for God’s sake, if you don’t like their new one, just switch over to Vector Legacy and it’ll be back to how it was back in 2020.
