Hello everyone,
I have just started my motorcycle-license lessons today and I should be having my license ready in about a couple of weeks.
I'm the most hardcore car guy but a complete noob in the world of two wheels. I'm slightly intimidated but I'm refusing to give in to my fears of riding on a motorcycle because I genuinely love these things! I don't want to own a bike(s) for showing off but to feel what the other side of motorsports has been hiding from me.
THE DILEMMA: As a beginner...

Hey all, I have a 2015 monster 821 with 5600 miles on it and I've been having issues with startup for my morning commute. I've just done valves and timing belts but this issue was had before these were done. (Hoping that would have helped it) what happens is when I start the bike when cold it has a pretty erratic idle and sometimes even (for a few seconds) fires on only one cylinder from the sounds of it until it warms up. Under load and once it's warmed up a bit it runs perfectly fine, on...

Hi guys!
Yesterday I was driving to work and when I was about to arrive I looked to my dashboard and had ABS and DTC saying "ERROR" and both ABS and warning triangle lights ON.
The driving mode was blinking as well.
If I turn of and on again it shows the proper settings of the ABS and DTC but after 10km/h it return to display de errors.
I already looked to the fuses and everything seems to be fine. Any thoughts ..read more

Im not affiliated with the BoosterPlug company, just a user who want to share this great product with other Monster 821 riders .
I was looking for an after market exhaust and found this piggyback system because the retailer recommends it to go with Remus exhaust. After doing some research on BMW and Ducati scrambler forum ( they did a Dyno run on a scrambler with boosterplug and it showed some data adjustment ) , I decided to order it. For $150 to make your bike run smoother...

I am developing a new business, I would like to know what type of accessories you would like to have for your monsters, or that you consider most important, given that these accessories would always be produced using aeronautical alloy aluminum and always machined products, and subsequently thermo-lacquered or anodized .
I also include the use of transformed aluminum sheet, using laser cutting, bending and English wheel
I would really like to know your opinion on this matter.
Thank you all ..read more

Hello
Recently I purchased myself a 2014 MY monster 821.
as I am 206cm (6'9) and around 115kg I am looking for mods that would make the ride a bit more comfortable.
What mods should i make ?
New handlebar ? which type would suit my geometry the most ?
Handlebar risers ? worth it or with new handlebar is a bit overkill ?
New footbeds ? 40mm adjustable or they are a bit overkill and will scrape at the corners ? Which manufacturer should I be seeking for ?
New seat ? People recommend the...

Hi guys, I’ve just bought a 2016 monster 821 and previously had a Yamaha. I noticed from the first time I used the bike that the throttle almost seemed a little delayed. For example, you have to twist the throttle grip a good 3-4mm before the revs pick up and get any response. I’ve gone thru all rider modes and experimented and also reset the rider modes but it’s the same. Coming from the Yamaha which was cable throttle seemed more responsive and immediate. If people say this is normal then...

I'm still trying to put all my fingerprints on my bike. I've had her for 2 years and it's time to change out the handlebars.
I picked up the rizoma retro bars because they are soooo sexy and realized they clamp at 1 1/8 instead of 7/8. I picked up the riser kit which would modify the clamp to 1 1/8 but it doesn't fit my bike because the speedometer is attached to the stock riser. Any help or advice would be appreciated ..read more
