Because of 11th September, this episode has been pulled from the UK schedule for four years, but it finally airs again today on Sky! My favorite episode. I liked it because of the main plot. It just reminds me that childhood is awesome, and you need to live it out as much as posssible. I also liked it when Homer buys illeagal fireworks! "Show your independance to your nation by blowing up a small part of it!" I really didn't pay much attention to the jokes, mainly because I liked the storyline so much, I didn't care about anything else. I think it's awesome what Lisa did. Personally, I like Homer goes to College because of its sheer quantity of jokes. Probably the funniest Simpsons episode to me. The Futurama episode takes a more philisophical bend with the intelligent monkey and the ramifications behind it. The episodes share some similarities such as the college kid shennnigans with Homer and Bender respectively. What do you think ..read more

Hi everyone. This thread is a call to arms. If it aint broke, don't fix it, right? Well IMO the Simpsons is broke, and we are the only ones who can fix it. I have brainstomed up a huge bunch of ideas for Simpsons plots etc., which I truly think recapture the glory of the early seasons.
