On March 28, 2024, dignitaries from across the city of Dallas convened at the site of the Bachman Lake Skatepark. It was an epic day, and a moment for the entire action sports community to be proud of. There is so much praise to go around. A member of our board has experience running a large Dallas non-profit as the treasurer, so they set us up our own 501c3 with the State of Texas and IRS. Thank you for all who received our email and wrote to your Dallas Parks Board members about the skate spot at Carpenter Park. You had a huge impact! Making things happen with government takes continuous effort and a long term perspective. As an important reminder, this is a different skate spot than the flagship park at Bachman Lake, which is full speed ahead.
