The Wyoming Middle School Variety Show puts the creativity and talents of our WMS students at center stage! Bring your tap shoes, gymnastic talents, stand-up routine, gift for monologuing, or slap-stick skit to auditions. Sing to the last row, strum us a tune, or amaze the crowd at the performances. There’s no fee for entry, and tickets will be sold for $5 at the door the day of the shows. What could be easier or more fun? Wow! We are all so incredibly proud of you, CAST and CREW!! That was an amazing first show. It’s two hours later and we’re still getting messages from people about how much they enjoyed it. Shew! Two rehearsals down, two to go. I hope everyone is holding up well at home and getting sleep. We (the parent coordinators) are very happy with how everyone is rolling with the long days and the unexpected calamities. (So far, we’ve had our sound system go down and need a temporary fix, and the school’s fire drills set our lights onto emergency mode. Hi, everyone! I feel like I’ve been holding my breath all day: Tech Week doesn’t really start until I write this post, correct? But here we are, with the moment upon us. I’ll try to be as comprehensive as I can in this post/email, so that you know what to expect. Rehearsals Monday-Thursday are from 3:30-7:30, with a snack break at 5:30. Hi, everyone! Our Publicity Crew has been hard at work making buttons to promote Once on This Island. They would like to solicit help from the Cast and Crew to distribute the buttons to the rest of the school at lunch time. It’s not too hard – the essentials are to stand in front of the Once on This Island Jr. banner* in the cafeteria and encourage students to take a button and come see the show. Welcome back from Spring Break! I hope everyone is feeling refreshed and ready to work for the next two weeks to polish our production.
