A few years back, I kept a garden – nothing major; some tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers and cooking herbs. It took a lot of work and consistency. In the spring, I prepped the soil, pulled weeds, tilled the soil, and then waited for all the cold weather to pass before planting seeds. I would first place the seeds in water and let them sprout a bit. I then planted the seeds, gave the soil nutrients, and watered them. I was expecting to see growth. Not only growth, but eventually something tasty to eat! Why did I expect that? Well, because I planted seeds! The Bible tells us that it’s the same ..read more

EasyWorship Blog
by Nolan Cook

In the past few years, we have seen tons of churches start livestreaming their services in order to give their congregation as many opportunities as possible to connect with the church. Here are three super simple things you can do to improve the way your livestream looks:  Get the Right Angles The first thing I want to talk about is framing your camera shots correctly. If you’re unfamiliar with the rule of thirds, here’s a quick explanation. Plop a tic-tac-toe board down on a photo. You have just divided your image into horizontal and vertical thirds. The rule of thirds says that to crea ..read more

Glorifying God In Your Work
EasyWorship Blog
by Eric Hillis

How do we glorify God in our work? Are we working for God or are we working for man?  Colossians 3:23-24: “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. For you serve the Lord Christ.”  We’ve all been there before. The mundane day-to-day jobs and tasks that feel like you just punch in and out of the clock with no real fulfillment. Sometimes you may wonder what worth you have or value you get from doing your job. Even in ministry or serving in any church capacity at times can elicit the ..read more

While looking back on the incredible time we had at Experience Conference 2022 in Orlando, we wanted to share some of our favorite moments and memories that we made. Our Booth/The People One of the best parts of Experience 2022 for me was getting to meet and interact with a ton of new people, and some of our customers and partners that I hadn’t seen in over a year. I had the chance to pray with a man who was soon to have a lung transplant and his wife, got to celebrate the birth of one of our media partner’s new daughter, and spent the whole week speculating with everyone about who the star gu ..read more

We get it! And we’ve all done it at some point. It’s the dreaded call to support or customer service to get help with something that’s either broken or not working properly. If and when you ever call for support at EasyWorship, we want it to be the best experience you’ve had with a support team. We also strive to resolve the issue you’re having as quickly as possible but still be kind and helpful so ..read more

THIS or THAT

My version of “This or That” today isn’t going to be about staying in or going out, being a night owl or early bird, texting or calling, hot Cheetos or Takis, gym rat or couch potato, Dad’s favorite or Mom’s favorite; and the list goes on and gets creative! No, today’s version is going to explore two stories in the Bible about being trapped in a storm. One version teaches us to rebuke it, and the other version tells us to walk through it. Let’s dive in. THIS Matthew 8 (NLT) 23 Then Jesus got into the boat and started across the lake with his disciples. 24 Suddenly, a fierce sto ..read more
