We were delighted to be featured by Queen City Nerve for our “Ask Me About Abortion” even on the 23rd. “What is the difference between emergency contraception and regular contraception? Check out your guide at VoteProChoice and email it to yourself for easy access. Vote early, and then go to your local polling place and hand out flyers for your candidates. Give rides to people. Growing up in Slovenia, abortions were both common and unimportant. People had them, they were a part of life. Because they had comprehensive sex education in school, abortions were also discussed. My own mother had one, but it was never a big deal. It was something mentioned in passing and no one dwelt on it.
