This past weekend we got the chance to take two Team Bronco Ambassadors, Micayla Gatto and Tyrhee Moore, riding in Jackson Hole to introduce them to adaptive mountain biking (aMTB)! They’d never been on adaptive mountain bikes so they had a brief lesson on Bowhead Reach adventure bikes and the athletes learned really quickly on the accessible trails in the Cache Creek area. They also came to Jackson Hole to hand deliver a $20,000 grant from the Bronco Wild Fund to Teton Adaptive for which we are super grateful! Dear Teton Adaptive Supporters, As 2022 comes to an end, it’s worth pressing the pause button to reflect on how many smiles we were able to create this past year. Many people living with disabilities both locally and visiting were able to enjoy more activities than ever before due the efforts of our staff, volunteers and partners at Teton Adaptive. Kaelyn and her mother flew high in the sky above the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village, Wyoming. Mother Angela watched Kaelyn flying in a wheeled paragliding chair and trained pilot while she did a tandem flight with another pilot from JH Paragliding. The accident left Joe an incomplete C7 quadriplegic, meaning he is paralyzed from the chest down and has impairment in both his hands.
