Karen Bagnard is a blind artist teaching adaptive art for the City of Pasadena’s Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department. She has taught the class of developmentally delayed adults for four years. Two years ago she designed a children’s class for the City called “Coloring Outside the Lines.”
Karen brings a playful approach to her classes with a desire to teach her students to believe in themselves and to trust their creative instincts. Her two mantras for her classes are: “Perfection is over-rated” and “Most of all, have fun!”
